What’s next?

On Sunday the 3 February 2019, Archbishop Malcolm McMahon inaugurated Synod 2020. The Service included the words of Proclamation of Synod 2020 which will be held from 17-18 October 2020, followed by the Liturgy of Commissioning where all Synod Members made their Profession of Faith. The Service concluded with a 'Liturgy of Light and Sending,' inviting us to pray for the work to be done by the 500 members of the Synod.

The listening process surfaced many different voices of those in later life. Ros will help people to see how we can look at the past, live in the present and gaze into the future. To be hopeful in changing times and how we can try and navigate faith issues with children and grandchildren. All, of whatever age, are very welcome! There will be an opportunity for questions and answers and optional Night Prayer at 9:00pm. Hope University L16 9JD.

Please contact the Synod Office (synod2020@rcaol.co.uk) if you have any access requirements.
